Editorial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence has changed how organisations communicate. Content can now be produced in seconds; reports, articles, press releases, social posts, all generated at speed.

That speed is a genuine advantage. But speed alone doesn't earn trust. Organisations are increasingly judged not just by what they publish, but by its accuracy, its transparency, and whether genuine human judgement stands behind it.

At DComms, we apply this principle called Editorial Intelligence: the practice of combining artificial intelligence with human editorial judgement to produce communication that is accurate, credible, transparent, and worthy of trust.

It draws on principles that have always defined responsible journalism: verify before publishing, evidence before opinion, context before conclusions, and human accountability for every communication.

We use artificial intelligence for what it does best: speed, scale, and efficiency. We bring human judgement for what only people can do: verification, context, and accountability. Used together, they produce communication that is both fast and worthy of trust.

DComms Brief No. 01: The Human Advantage

How is trust earned when anyone can generate convincing content with artificial intelligence?

Our first executive briefing is based on Editorial Intelligence, a practical framework for understanding the Trust Shift now underway, and what it means for organisations navigating the emerging Trust Economy.

Written for communications professionals and organisational leaders, this briefing draws on journalistic principles of verification, evidence, and editorial judgement to offer a clear, actionable perspective on building trust in an AI-mediated world.

Meet the Founder

Dhanya AK

  Journalist. Communications Consultant.

My career has always centred on one thing: helping important stories create real-world impact.

Across journalism and strategic communications, I have uncovered complex issues, informed public debate, and helped organisations communicate with authority, integrity, and purpose. Every significant piece of work I have produced has been in the service of people, organisations, and communities who needed someone to tell their story well, whether that story was complex, contested, or simply not yet understood.

As a journalist, I could only tell these stories from the outside. In communications, I can work from the inside, bringing the same curiosity, editorial judgement, and genuine care into the organisations I work with.

As artificial intelligence reshapes how organisations communicate, I believe the answer is not less technology but stronger human judgement. At DComms, everything comes together in one principle: Editorial Intelligence, the guide behind our work. Journalism meets strategy here because trust is built on knowing the whole story.

Every client works with me directly: senior expertise, precision, and personal commitment on every engagement.
